Industrial Refrigeration

Train to become an Industrial Refrigeration Operator Technician
with an optional RETA Certification

These classes are designed for refrigeration engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel from the food processing, meat packing, refrigerated warehousing, petro chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Students will become skilled at the operation service and maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment. Special emphasis is placed on ammonia refrigeration system operation and safety. Classes are held in our new up-to-date facilities located at the ECC North Campus 300 wing of Bretschger Hall.

Attention: Garden City Community College, Lanier Community College, and other associated technical school students:

Erie Community College is offering LEAP (Life Experience Assessment Program) which allows you to convert past experience and training into ECC college credit, for a $70 fee (per LEAP application). This will enable you to transfer these classes into college credit that can be used towards a degree program at ECC.
